What happened to the 'Fargo' Wood chipper?

Speaking of: The Fargo Wood chipper scene

'Fargo' wood chipper is all the buzz as tourist attraction

Excerpt:

One of the most famous "stars" in the Coen Brothers' hit movie "Fargo" is appearing in that city starting Saturday as a tourist attraction.

The actual wood chipper prop from the 1996 Oscar-winning movie is part of an exhibit that runs through May 15 at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center. Other memorabilia from the movie also will be on display.

"When people outside our community hear 'Fargo,' they think of a film," said Cole Carley, president and CEO of the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. "North Dakota's largest city is commonly associated with the movie, and its famous wood chipper, so we took advantage of that quirky association for a time of celebration."

The wood chipper, a Yard Shark with an 8-horse power Briggs and Stratton engine, is owned by "Fargo" crew member Milo Durben.

While the wood chipper's time on-screen was brief, its use as a body-disposal device made for a disturbingly memorable scene.
