Stuff Out Loud: Christians In the Voting Booth

Stuff Out Loud: Christians In the Voting Booth

A good read. Coincidentally Kathee and I will be voting in the school district bonding election this weekend (by absentee ballot). Voting is important and there is more at stake than the Presidential election.

  1. Jim, this was indeed an excellent commentary on the tremendous responsibility of Christians to participate in the political process and to VOTE. We need to vote for principled candidates who also have a chance to win. We squander our vote by voting solely for a political philosophy. Individuals are elected to office, not philosophies. As you no doubt observed on SharperIron, there is a bit of disagreement on this point among fundamentalists.

The bottom line is that God has given us a responsibility; we need to exercise that responsibility.
