Saturday relaxing

1. Kathee made pancakes and we relaxed with coffee and read the morning paper.
   
2. We shopped at Lunds.
   
3. Roger and Kathy asked us to go to see the movie The Queen with them at 2 in Edina. Good movie but I fell asleep for the last 15 minutes.
   
4. They came back to our home and had coffee with us.
   
5. Kathee made hamburgers just for us.
   
6. Roger (Son) is out on a date.
   
7. Nathan came by at 7:30 and we watched the shuttle take off (CNN)
   

Roger gassed up the tractor. We are ready for snow. We drove 2/3 around Medicine Lake ... it is completely iced over.

Kathee and I read Genesis 23 & 24 tonight. A couple of key verses:

24:3, "and I will make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell;" Comment: Abraham did not want Isaac's wife to be a pagan!
